Bulletin-Easter Sunday 9th April 2023
6 April 23Good Morning Everyone,
I hope this day brings you new strength and renewed spiritual energy.
Before you begin reading the Word of God, take a moment to pray Daily Mannaepare yourself:
- Sit in a meditative posture
- Gently close your eyes
- Take a deep, gentle breath
- As you inhale, say: “Thank you, Jesus.”
- As you exhale, say: “Praise you, Jesus.”
Do this for at least four minutes, then open your heart to the Daily Word of God.
Short Reflection for Today
Scripture Readings:
- Genesis 11:1-9 – The Tower of Babel reminds us that human pride and self-sufficiency can lead to confusion and division. True unity comes when we surrender to God’s will.
- Psalm 32(33):10-15 – God’s plans stand firm forever, while human plans may fail. Blessed are those who trust in the Lord.
- Mark 8:34 – 9:1 – Jesus calls us to take up our cross and follow Him. True discipleship requires self-denial, but in losing ourselves to Christ, we find true life.
Reflection:
Today’s readings invite us to humility, trust, and discipleship. Instead of relying on our own strength, we are called to trust in God’s wisdom and follow Jesus with a willing heart. Let us reflect:
- Am I seeking my own way, or am I open to God’s plan?
- How can I take up my cross today with faith and love?
May the Lord bless you and guide you throughout this day!
With prayers,
Fr. Joseph
